As an agricultural country, Indonesia has very fertile soil which can grow a wide variety of imported trees and plants to be developed and cultivated. That is why, the cocoa plant (Theobroma cacao L.) was brought into Indonesia since the 1880s by the Spanish through Minahasa district, North Sulawesi. The cocoa seeds that entered Indonesia were cultivated from the Philippines, a Spanish colony. When the cocoa plant seeds are processed, a processed product known as chocolate is produced.

At the beginning of the 17th century, chocolate became a refreshing drink synonymous with the European elite. That is why, consuming chocolate is often used as a symbol of social status. However, in its development, the success of cocoa cultivation and the skills of cocoa masters have produced various variants of chocolate derivatives that can be consumed in various ways, even by various levels of society.

Chocolate is so popular because chocolate is not only delicious to treat your tongue, but it also has many health benefits. Therefore some say that chocolate is a delicius gift from Mother Nature.

 

VARIANT CACAO POWDER

In the 19th century, cocoa cultivation in Indonesia, which is native to South America, developed rapidly. That is why, Indonesia has succeeded in becoming the third largest cocoa producing country in the world.
The large amount of cocoa production has given rise to many local chocolates with various brands and specifications in Indonesia. Therefore, we also provide various kinds of cocoa powder that you can choose based on your needs. To help you choose easier, we group our cocoa powder by color.

Cacao Pure Black
